The Challenge: Accessibility and Information Architecture
The project aimed to create a professional educational service. The challenge was to design a structure allowing users to easily find knowledge amidst a vast array of articles, while maintaining a lightweight and modern design.
Approach: Content-First Design
In this project, technology took a backseat to User Experience (UX). We used WordPress as the backend, but the front-end was designed with a heavy emphasis on typography and readability.
Implementation:
- Custom Theme Development: A lightweight theme void of unnecessary scripts. We focused on Semantic HTML, which is crucial for Accessibility and SEO.
- Smart Categorization: We implemented an advanced content filtering system, allowing readers to quickly access veterinary guides.
- RWD & Mobile First: The design was created with mobile users in mind, who make up the majority of the advisory content audience.
Summary
We delivered a service that is not only aesthetic but primarily functional. Speed and intuitive navigation encourage users to spend more time on the site, building the brand's authority in the zoological industry.
