A common case is connecting the store with a warehouse WMS system, or automatically ordering a courier through Furgonetka after an order status change.

I check API documentation of both systems and accurately map connections (e.g., which field in ERP corresponds to "Promotional Price" in the store).
Development
I write connecting scripts. I don't do this on a live store. I work on a test environment (Sandbox) to avoid breaking anything.
Synchronization Tests
I simulate orders, stock changes, and price updates. I verify on a test environment if data lands in the right places.
Launch (Cron)
I plug the ready integration into production. I set task schedule (Cron), e.g., stocks every 15 minutes, prices once a day.

Questions and Answers (Integrations)
Do you integrate Subiekt GT or only Nexo?
I integrate both versions. In the case of Subiekt GT, "Sfera" (Subiekt add-on) or an external middleware solution is usually required to ensure connection stability.
Does synchronization work in real-time?
It depends on system APIs. Most integrations work based on a schedule (e.g., every 5-15 minutes). In some cases (Webhooks), immediate reaction is possible.
What happens when wholesaler API changes?
Wholesalers sometimes change XML file structure. As part of technical support, I monitor such changes and update importers so the store operates uninterrupted.
Can I integrate the store with two warehouses?
Yes. I write logic that e.g., sums stocks from both warehouses or sets priorities (sell from own warehouse first, then from wholesaler).
