Does UnoPIM work with PrestaShop?
Yes. As Web Berserker, I create dedicated API connectors. UnoPIM becomes the "master" (source of truth), and PrestaShop is merely a "display" of the offer. Changing a description in PIM automatically updates the store.
When is it worth implementing PIM?
I recommend PIM when: you have over 500-1000 products, sell in more than one channel (e.g., Store + Marketplace), plan foreign expansion (multiple languages), or have complicated technical product data. What is the cost of the UnoPIM license?
UnoPIM Community version is free (Open Source). You only pay for my implementation service (installation, server configuration, team training, store integration). This is a huge saving compared to subscription systems (SaaS).
Does UnoPIM integrate with ERP?
Yes. In the architecture I design, ERP usually sends stock levels and prices (hard data) to PIM, and in PIM we complete descriptions and photos (soft data). Only a complete product goes to the store.
Is Akeneo Community Edition end of life?
Akeneo CE is not formally end of life - releases still appear on GitHub. However, Akeneo as a company has announced a full pivot to SaaS (Serenity). New features, AI, and integrations go exclusively to paid plans, and CE-dedicated bundles have disappeared from the marketplace. It is a clear strategic direction worth considering when planning a new implementation.
What does a migration from Akeneo CE to UnoPIM look like?
Migration runs in 4 stages: audit of the existing attribute structure and product families in Akeneo, data mapping to UnoPIM, export from Akeneo (API or CSV) and import into UnoPIM with completeness validation, then connecting the store, marketplaces, and ERP to the new source of truth.
