Does UVDesk work with my email?
Yes. We configure "Mailbox Integration" (IMAP/SMTP). When a client sends an email to your address (e.g. [email protected]), UVDesk automatically downloads it and creates a ticket. Your reply in the system is sent to the client as a regular email.
Does the system support GDPR?
Yes, that's one of the main advantages of Open Source. Ticket database resides on your server. You have tools to anonymize customer data or delete them on request (right to be forgotten).
How does it differ from PrestaShop "Customer Service"?
Built-in PrestaShop module is very primitive (no ticket assignment, no stats, difficult attachment handling). UVDesk is a dedicated Enterprise-class tool with automation (e.g. "If subject contains 'return', assign to Returns Dept").
Can I migrate data from Zendesk?
In most cases yes. There are migration tools for ticket history, but it requires individual analysis of your current provider's API.
