The Challenge: Scaling with Big Data

Solfinity is a leader in the photovoltaic industry. Their B2B platform based on PrestaShop had to handle thousands of products, complex wholesale price lists, and massive traffic from business partners. The store struggled with performance issues (slow cart loading) and ERP synchronization errors.

Our Actions: Audit & Refactoring

We took over technical maintenance of the project, starting with a deep audit of the code and MySQL database.

Engineering Scope:

• Database Optimization: We identified and fixed "Slow Queries." Implementing proper table indexing accelerated product search by 300%.
• Dedicated B2B Modules: We developed custom solutions to handle merchant credits and individual discount levels, which standard PrestaShop does not support.
• Synchronization Stabilization: We rewrote key data exchange mechanisms with the ERP system, eliminating inventory discrepancies.

The Result

The platform regained stability. Page generation time dropped from seconds to milliseconds, which is crucial for wholesalers ordering hundreds of items. The client gained confidence that the system would support further business growth.
